It won’t be long until festival season has landed and this year will no doubt be one to celebrate. Ireland’s newest music and arts festival ‘Beyond The Pale’ will take place from June 10th to 12th in the valleys of the spectacular Glendalough Estate, Co Wicklow, just 45 minutes from Dublin with a limited capacity of less than 5,000 tickets.
The Irish festival circuit has to be one of the most diverse out there, from quirky off-the-beaten track festivals, to legendary state of the art shenanigans, we are no doubt spoiled for choice. This latest addition couldn’t have come at a better time as we seek to reconnect, immerse ourselves in music and tune in to nature. Beyond the Pale‘s first round of acts offers a hugely diverse lineup of music and art, curated with the Irish zeitgeist in mind.
From the all out classic dance act Orbital, to knees up action from the Mary Wallopers, the festival is curated as much for the feet as it is for the senses. Check out the first wave of performers here:
Mission statement from the organisers below:
We yearn for escape , a place to reconnect and disconnect , to step away from screens, to live on the land and roam in its forests , to dance, and hug and scream and most importantly lose all sense of reality even if just for a moment. A return to freedom.
Our boutique festival is all about the careful curation of music, art & food in a beautifully intimate location fit for 5,000 people. After 2 years of isolation and disconnection we want to surround ourselves with friends and strangers with one unifying purpose: to bathe in nature and soak up the incredible entertainment on show.
Tickets go on sale Friday March 4th at 10am from their website here.
