From Ireland to Manchester, Kerrie Anderson aka Kerrie made the move to the UK in 2010, where she quickly joined the Eastern Bloc Records crew, however, today the talent DJ and producer announces her brand new label, Dark Machine Funk.

Having been on the DJ circuit for a number of years, performing as part of her Eastern Block residency, or regularly being booked for some of the UK, Ireland and Europe’s most prestigious underground parties, Kerrie has announced the launch of her eagerly anticipated Dark Machine Funk’ aka DMF Recordings label.

We are excited for the debut label release, which will see a 2 part release from her which drops in the coming months. We’ll be watching and waiting for the first release… Make sure to keep up to date with Kerrie’s Dark Machine Funk Bandcamp page here.

Hey friends, It means the world to me to finally share a bit of exciting news and much needed hope amongst one of the most uncertain times we’re ever going to experience….

I’m unbelievably proud to present my very own record label ‘Dark Machine Funk’ aka DMF Recordings. An outlet for my own productions and musical excursions with no rules or definition.

DMF001 & DMF002 will be a 2 part release (with a few months gap) called ‘Inner Space’ dropping early 2021 on both vinyl & digital.

I’m really excited to share the music, the Inner Space EPs (pt1 & pt2) were all composed & produced during the lockdown so I guess it’s the fruits of a fiercely strange and worrying time and will always be something positive to look back on this time for! ✨

The incredible artwork is by Irish artist ‘Hankohooligan’ aka Kevin Horgan, (I’m also extra proud as he is my cousin!) super happy with how it turned out ❤️

Hoping for the first release to drop this spring all going to plan… In the meantime you can keep up to date on here / follow @dmf_recordings on Instagram or follow the label on bandcamp / soundcloud! Link is posted in comments below.

Super excited to get my hands on the first record and look forward to sharing it with you! Stay tuned!
