ShivThe Local Selection mix series this week comes from Cork Native Medb, who supplies us with a fantastic and deep hour of jungle, breaks and D&B to make this a great addition to our series.
Currently residing in Australia, Medb recently blew us away with her guest mix for Kate Butler on the much loved Dublin Digital Radio. Upon listening to her show, we simply had to request a mix for our series. While in Ireland she was part of the badass DJ duo Really Bad Mother’s- [shout out to Bad Mother #2 Rachel] who earned their stripes playing the best in breaks, dubstep and all things bass music.
Today she smashes our Wednesday afternoon with a back to back mix of experimental bass, beats and jungle. With tracks from Luke Vibert, LMajor and Om Unit, this local selector has no doubt got a serious selection of records we want to hear more of.
