Dublin bass merchants Woozy return for their second release, this time on wax. Following on from a stellar debut release, they arrive with an immense four tracker from London based Coe which is also accompanied by a cracker of a remix from Or:la.

The release is packed with three dubstep informed weapons from newcomer Coe and a percussive rework from Or:la that comes with an arsenal of howling synth lines and daggering percussion hits. Coe hasn’t missed on his debut release on wax as he provides three cohesive yet contrasting club bombs. Showing dubstep, techno, electro and IDM flavours throughout the 12 inch. The trio of weapons from the London young gun Coe heaves around fat bass stomps, sub shaking wub mechanics and chugging dembow style wobblers.

Dublin based label heads Ema and Sputnik One have been shelling it down respectively in their own alleys. Ema has recently featured on the treasured Juan Tapes and will also be appearing on his curated line-up in Sheffield along with this she’s featured on the Down To Earth podcast as well as recent guest mixes on Rinse and Dub heavy station Swu FM.

On the other side of the coin Sputnik One has just released on the weighty label Wisdom Teeth as well as featuring on the revered Crack Magazines, Crack Mix. Sputnik has been receiving great support from bass heavy titans Ben Ufo and Batu. The two label heads will be playing an in store gig in the London based Kristina Records on October 2nd. The Woozy bosses will be celebrating the parturition of Woozy 02 alongside Coe and Blixa.

Woozy 02 is available to buy now via their Bandcamp and can also be bought in All City for any Dublin readers.
