Amsterdam via Dublin based DJ and producer ‘Decadance’ is set to release on Paris based label Eradys as part of their five year anniversary compilation with his hard techno stomper ‘Despite The Provocation’, now premiering on Grounded.
Eradys is a Parisian based label who have been releasing techno from huge risers within the scene from the likes of Dyen, TRYM and KØZLØV. They celebrate this with their five year anniversary VA with music featuring religious melodies to hard rhythms and deep dark atmospheres to joyful symphonies”, which beautifully encapsulates the soul and ethos of the label.
This VA features artists such as Amstra, Blame the Mono, TRBL and of course, Ireland’s very own Decadance to provide a line up that provides a perfect celebration of the labels success and depth of its sound in techno.
Decadance’s contribution to the label comes in the form of a 150bpm hard techno track, finding inspiration from the groove of the early 2000s and old school electro. Unusually, but perfectly fitting there can also be some familiar sounding vocal samples from Peaky Blinders heard too.
His sound is heavily influenced from his time spent within the Dutch rave scene and it’s hard techno and hardcore scene. His productions show that he has no sign of slowing down soon, earned himself releases on some local labels such as ‘Kriminal Records’, ‘Real Rotation Records’ and internationally with Finland’s ‘Ōtomo’ and Germany’s ‘Concrete Berlin’. I am buzzing to see how it all pans out for him as he expands his sound and with his recent relocation.
The track has now premiered on the excellent ‘Grounded’ platform. You can listen to the track below, and the full VA on the Eradys SoundCloud page.
The release is available to pre-order over on the Bandcamp here.
