Berlin-based, Kerry native FYuN looks towards his first official EP release on Disintegrated with his Movements EP as the label focuses on reviving the sound of the golden age of techno in the modern day from a new generation of artists.

Disintegrated and FYuN is both eager to start 2023 on the front foot, as FYuN’s first official EP titled Movements is due to release on Erik Burka’s label imprint Disintegrated at the end of the month. Filled to the brim with feel-good funk from start to finish, you can expect to hear an array of old-school, ghetto, and loopy influences throughout this 4 tracker. Aero and Stanz Amor have both been tasked with remix duties, flipping FYuN’s version of ’Stand’ and ‘Go Back’ respectively, totalling 6 tracks in total.

FYuN has solidified himself as one of Cork’s most exciting DJs and producers in recent times. Boasting an incredible library of released and unreleased material that is primarily inspired by the 90s and 00s era of techno. He has shared the stage with a number of artists that include Sunil Sharpe, Jamie Behan, Doug Cooney, and more over the years and he has recently relocated to Berlin in pursuit of taking his passion to the next level.

Aero continues to remain as consistent as ever with his flip of FYuN’s track ‘Stand’. Having a standout year last year as one of the country’s most in-demand artists despite the pandemic’s efforts to throw musicians off-balance, Aero seems to have come through it relatively unscathed and firing on all cylinders.

Stanz Amor’s interpretation of ‘Go Back’, is top-drawer stuff from the Blackpool-Manchester-based artist. Earning himself a sharp rise in popularity recently from his standout track on the Clergy Records VA titled ‘Tribal Together’, as well as finely crafted mixes on AKRONYM and Loopmasters that were both incredibly well received when they were initially uploaded.

Disintegrated has seen previous releases from Flores, ANSBRO, Hooligan, RZVX, SURRA, and more since its inception, with more releases lined up throughout 2023. Excited to see what the future holds for this young imprint.

FYuN’s Movements EP releases on January 25th, you can pre-order it on Bandcamp here.
