It’s been a steady rise for the young Waterford producer, from playing his hometown clubs and parties, to having his music supported by some of the biggest DJs on the planet.
Drawing tangible inspiration from the early 2000s hard techno and groove hiatus, Evan Marshall’s artistry continues to blossom, as the DJ is fast becoming a regular on the DJ circuit, plus one of the most prolific releaser of tunes in the whole country. If you don’t hear an Alt8 track on your night out, you’re probably going to the wrong parties.
For Alt8’s next releases, the Waterford native teams up with Parisian DJ and producer Blicz, as the pair collaborate to release their ‘West Coast Love’ EP, on Dyen’s Dutch label, Reckless. The EP consists of 2 collaborations and 2 originals and today we premiere an original from Alt8, entitled ‘Trophy Loop’, which is a fast paced and relentless peak time destroyer, already doing damage on systems all over Europe.
