Duvz is a DJ & Producer from Dublin with a taste for the darker side of things combining elements of EBM and techno in both his DJ sets and productions, taking influence from the likes of Slam, Inhalt Der Nacht, Cleric, Surgeon and more.
Duvz has put a lot of time into crafting out his own unique sound, having completed courses with Doug Cooney in Real Sound Ireland, The Sound Training College & Will Kinsella’s Elevator Program, and winning the Soma Records x Splice Producer Challenge in 2019, with his track “Enough”.
The Express crew (Shane Gleeson, Fiachra Walsh and Thomas Fallon) started off in the middle of this pandemic gathering mixes from up-and-coming artists around the country, showcasing the talent the emerald isle has to offer. After seeing the huge demand for their style they took the next steps into venturing into releasing tracks.
Express Galway drop their first VA of 2021 on April 9th and provide us with an 8-track whopper. This VA features a vast range of styles that linger on the surface of hard techno, featuring 8 up and coming Irish artists to watch, ROWDIBOI, FÍACHRA, JEED, Joshua Naughton, SMBG, Deano, PLAGUE and Duvz.
