MEJMI is quickly becoming one of our favourite up & coming techno acts in Ireland. MEJMI’s stripped back approach to prismatic techno production has been turning heads within the last six months. A strict approach to textured rhythms that calls on sci-fi inspirations makes a unqiue sound that is both charming and refreshing.
Aside from becoming one of Ireland’s stand-out up & coming techno producers, MEJMI has also been busy rocking dancefloors across Cork & Poland. Having headlined at the Slutty Virgin Festival and K-fest in Kerry she has also made appearances country wide playing for Cheek Eire, Blue Print Festival, Kriptik, 3ip.ka, Prospekt, Dv8, as well as more gigs forthcoming.
MEJMI’s latest offering on Faoi Thalamh Records is her best yet as she rapidly switches between pounding four to the floor rhythms to electro style broken beats. Textured synth stabs play off bleeping syncopated hits for a coursing hypnotic tool.
