RIOT CODE takes the form of two unknown artists, creating one very important vision. Their atmospheric yet hard hitting productions take us on an unpredictable journey of old school and fast paced mayhem. The woollen warriors intertwine break-beat, electro and techno to deliver blistering sets, boasting an exceptionally impressive discography of unreleased goodness.
The past two years has seen an ever growing force behind the two with a debut vinyl release and worldwide support all the way from New York to Australia, the RIOT CODE boys have well and truly made a massive impact and they’re only getting started.
On December 21st the duo introduce the ‘Behind Closed Doors’ compilation. A thank you to artists alike who have supported them throughout the past two years. The compilation will feature 17 tracks and 2 bonus Bandcamp tracks, with RIOT CODE sharing 6 originals alongside a whopping 11 remixes from artists around Ireland.
Today, we premiere a track entitled ‘TRIPLE 6’, taken from their forthcoming ‘Behind Closed Doors‘ EP, set to be released on December 21st.
The Derry duo have provided a powerful trap infused jungle anthem. Raucous vocal’s are matched with pounding kick drums, alarming subs, crisp breaks & a catchy hip-hop infused melody. Amen breaks, scratch samples and catchy vocals, this is simply made for the dance-floor. The track flips itself every few bars, between break switches and vocal chops, the track is continuously re-inventing itself as it progresses. This one is a catchy, jungle, power anthem.
