Sam GreenwoodOur second festive premiere of the week comes from Wexford native SYMØNE, as she gets ready to drop her debut release on 1st of January, welcoming in the new year with a bang and a a sign of what’s to come from her productions.
Irish techno DJ, producer and Enigma_irl founder SYMØNE cemented her name in the Irish scene supporting artists such as 999999999, Matador, Dense & Pika, Rebuke and more in venues across the country. Her skills at mixing a wide spectrum of styles translates seamlessly into her sets, where she picks apart and creates an infectious fusion of her favourite elements from each sub-genre.
This first release showcases her skills in producing industrial techno rollers with a hint of old school rave throughout. Today we premiere ‘Big Man Ting’ a heady techno track that unfolds across a catchy vocal and changes gears as the percussion warps, and distortion elevates the tune to a level we know will kill on the dance floor.
She continues to dedicate herself to her craft with plenty of more tracks up her sleeve ready to be rolled out in the new year. Turn this one up.
