Sam GreenwoodHailing from Dublin, 22 year old DJ and producer Kevin Murtagh has been making the most of his short time within the scene, showcasing his talent to promote the unique underground flavour of deep minimal house, which is still a comparatively niche sound within our Irish shores.
Recently rebranding his work under the new alias ‘AXIAL’, he has worked tirelessly to catapult himself deep into the industry, by providing countless guest mixes to various nationwide collectives, taking up music production and playing gigs in the likes of 39/40 and The Turks Head pre lockdown. By enrolling in the BIFE Music Production course, taught by Doug Cooney and Sunil Sharpe, AXIAL hopes to take his production to the next level going into the future, progressing upon his already released cuts.
He is also a Phever FM regular with his bi-weekly show entitled ‘Hausify’ in which he has held down since May 2020 and a resident writer for the label333 ‘Project Radio’, where he helps to promote the Irish scene.
