It’s release day for Dublin DJ and producer Pusher, dropping his brand new ‘Dusk’ EP, comprised of two original cuts on his own Indicate Records imprint.
Throughout the past decade, Ireland’s Pusher has been steadily unveiling his take on contemporary house music via his own Indicate label through self-released EP’s across both vinyl and digital. Today marks the launch of his latest work with ‘Dusk’, employing Balearic breaks laced with percussive textures and rich chords skilfully crafted with the summer dancefloor in mind.
Opening the release on the A-side is ‘On My Way’, employing bumpy broken drums, bright piano sequences and cinematic pad lines alongside resonant synth licks and a driving low-end groove.
‘Our World’ follows on the flip side, leaning more towards the Balearic summer sound with choppy keys, airy strings and raw, organic percussion laid out across six and a half minutes.
To celebrate the new EP, Pusher hosts a release party, inviting a host of DJs and producers to join him tomorrow [Saturday] in Dublin’s Workman’s venue, in their main room. Joining Pusher on the night is Blancnoir, Oaklee and the SYLK DJs. You can pick up tickets here.
