In recent years, we’ve had a consistent source of talented young producers, and Pagan is no exception to that rule. The Dublin based musician’s career is only just beginning, but a productive year in the studio has helped him catch the ear of some of dance music’s biggest names in dance music.
Although global lockdowns put a hold club and festival bookings, Pagan has spent the free time writing an abundance of new music, much of which has caught the ears of both DJ’s and online publications. He has already announced his debut EP on Lobster Theremin’s 1Ø Pills Mate, which has gained support from Alan Fitzpatrick, Jenson Interceptor, Boston 168 and more. Today, however, it’s all about his latest release, a remix of Theo Nasa’s excellent ‘Breaks In Ya Face’ on Alan Fitzpatrick‘s We Are The Brave label.
London DJ and producer Theo Nasa‘s ‘Breaks In Ya Face’ is a chopped jungle / breaks with raw hardcore 90’s stabs and esoteric sound effects. Pagan steps up for remix duties, adding his super clean, signature flair to the track, building on the original with euphoric strings and harmonies, beautifully complimenting Theo’s breaks and adding an emotive element to the remix.
