ShivTr One has been a staple of the Irish scene, carving his sound out with precision and producing top quality tunes inspired by the classic house and techno sounds since the early 00s. His latest endeavour sees him release album ‘From The Studio Of’ on the new Intrinsic Rhythm label.
Off the back of a top live set performance at Open Ear festival, prolific producer, Reynolds’ sounds has led him to some of his country’s most-renowned labels, including Lunar Disko, Apartment, Bodytonic and Pogo. Citing the likes of Dublin’s D1 Recordings, Kraftwerk and J Dilla as early influences, he is equally inspired by the vintage sounds of Chicago and Detroit. His latest venture is a 14 track album released on the newly established and somewhat mysterious Intrinsic Rhythm imprint.
With three tracks available to preview, the taster shows the depth he has plunged to in the creation of this release, focusing on the smoother sounds of Detroit via the deep house and dub routes his productions are known for. He’s also collaborated with a number of artists, one being vocalist Elaine Dowling, with remixes offered up by Cignol and Mihail Petrovski.
