Sam GreenwoodDublin-based record label and record shop Absys Records is marking its 16th birthday on November 16th at Racket Space. Teaming up with label friends Interruption and Zero T, for a massive 9-hour party of techno, drum & bass and jungle from 10 local artists.
Kicking off at 7PM and running until 3AM, the event will be held at Absys’s new home, The Racket Space. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a selection of records and dance music merchandise from Absys’s shop, which is available for sale on weekends at this location, prior to music at 7.
True to Absys tradition, the lineup reflects a balance between emerging talent and established names, showcasing artists at various stages of their careers. It perfectly encapsulates the label’s ethos, with Jacob, XXXX In Stereo, FlavrJay, Polska, Jonnie, SHO, Zero T, Shiv, Paudie, and David Oblivion all set to perform.
For over 16 years, Absys Records has been a pillar of underground culture, creating spaces where local artists and communities can thrive. The label has stayed true to its core sound, consistently supporting local talent while also constantly evolving. This celebration will be a testament to the community they’ve built, where the underground remains at the heart of everything they do.
