The Green Room in Dingle will host a new one-day music festival on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, spotlighting grassroots Irish artists. Known as a bastion of underground culture, the venue will feature performances by New Jackson, Hewan Mulugeta, Olive Hatake (live), and more.
The event will span two floors, incorporating John Benny’s Pub downstairs to create a close-knit and dynamic space, with a lineup featuring New Jackson, Hewan Mulugeta, Olive Hatake (live), P Disconaut, JusMe, Caolan Ryan, and Phil Edwards (Slow Riot).
The Green Room’s Subterranean Soul club nights have been a cornerstone of Dingle’s underground scene since launching in 2021. Closing out 2024, the venue hosted a standout night during Other Voices Festival, featuring Derry native and Mixmag’s “Producer of 2024” Or:la, GRL (Cailín), and local talents Caolan Ryan and Jack Sheehy.
Green Room venue owner Ben Moriarty and resident DJ/Booker John Fitzgerald (Subterranean Soul) have taken a bold step to start a new Music Festival in the seaside town which is already well renowned for its rich musical heritage. The organisers hope to showcase the other side of Dingle’s music scene with this limited-capacity event.
