Open Ear, one of Ireland’s most unique independent festivals, tucked away on the edge of Ireland on Sherkin Island, presents its most expansive lineup yet.

The festival which takes place towards the end of May will feature a forward-facing collection of local and international artists, with highlights including Sunil Sharpe, Americhord, Rob Hall, Anodyne, DJ Marcelle, and more.

Following a sun-drenched and unforgettable edition in 2024, Open Ear returns to its home of West-Cork on Sherkin Island this June Bank Holiday weekend (May 29 – June 1, 2025). Known for its boundary-pushing curation, the festival once again promises a journey through forward-thinking experimental music.

Last year’s edition raised the bar, with performances unfolding across beaches, churches, and historic abbeys, alongside Open Ear’s now-iconic Banger Cliff stage.

For 2025, the festival is expanding its reach even further, delivering what is set to be its most ambitious and diverse programme yet.
