Here & Now and Illicit have teamed up to bring Chase & Status back to Dublin for their first club show since 2011. The enigmatic duo is known for their unrelenting take on all things drum and bass, dubstep, hip-hop and more as they make their return to the Emerald Isle this weekend.

British dance music duo Chase & Status return to Dublin for their first club show in Ireland in 12 years this weekend. The party acts as a celebration for the esteemed Dublin party Illicit’s 8th birthday. Having welcomed a wealth of acts to the city since its inception, some of which include Shadow Child, Huxley, Holly Lester, Kolter, Brawther and many more across a wide range of venues it acts as the perfect celebration after 8 years of running standout parties.

Chase & Status’ legacy in dance music is one to behold, having bridged the gap when it comes to fusing grime and rap with underground dance music. Collaborating with artists such as Dizzee Rascal, Novelist, Flowdan and Tinie Tempah over the years alongside many successful solo releases such as ‘Blind Faith’, ‘End Credits’ and ‘Count On Me’ to scratch the surface. They are joined by George Feely who’ll be performing a special breakbeat/rave set as opposed to his usual house and disco-driven sound which will make for intriguing listening while Panda Drey b2b Conkan opens proceedings in the Main Room. Illicit will look after Room 2 with an all-night-long takeover comprised of a stacked lineup of local talent. This is one for the heads. Do not miss this!
