ShivGalway crew, time to dust off your dancing shoes – Ar Ais Arís is back in Club Áras na nGael tomorrow with another lineup of heavy hitter DJs from the Irish underground.
Irish party DJ and one of the founding members of the mighty Gash Collective , Lolz, is on headline duties. There’s never a dull moment in a set from Lolz, whether it’s digging deep for italo rollers, or lashing out electro, grime and all things bass. She will no doubt be working through a bunch of bass heavy anthems for this one as she takes control of the excellent RiseUp soundsystem.
Next up is Club Comfort girl-boss, the tender hearted destroyer of dancefloors – Roo Honeychild! A legend of the dance music scene who has constantly championed the wealth of talent on this island, she is set to bring her fun fuelled chuggers to the dance floor.
Next up is Freehouse promoter, ex-Turnstiles and Montessori drummer, Luke Kiid, who has been championing the heavy stuff to the Galway masses for quite a while now.
Last but not least is the man behind the scenes, and one-half of bass and jungle labels Rua Sound and Foxy Jangle, Rob Rua, who will no doubt pull out all the stops and potentially some unreleased gems (!) from his extensive selection. Do yourself a favour, and don’t miss this one.
