Geneva born, Berlin based Chlär is set to make his long awaited Dublin debut on the 9th of September in the Wigwam basement. Courtesy of favoured Dublin promoters Research and Embedded. If you are keen to hear a typical guy play atypical music, look no further.

Chlär has had a sharp rise in success in recent years, and rightly so. The output this young artist possesses is of ridiculous quality. Showcasing an old school sound, fused with groove. Coupled with extensive knowledge in music production, he gifts his listeners with a raw, rich and unique approach to dance music.

Chlär’s discography speaks for itself. Boasting releases on Lobster Theremin, BCCO, Raw, The BRVTALIST, HATE, MOTZ and many more. Having just announced an upcoming release on SHDW & Obscure Shape’s label Mutual Rhythm that is also set to release later this year, Chlär is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Chlär’s sets are much like his compositions. Technical and rich in sound. With a primary focus on the groove to keep the dancefloor moving, who are left eagerly anticipating his next move. Often experimenting with multiple loops to deepen the sound of his mix, in search of creating hip manoeuvring atmospheres filled with funk. His recent set at Vault Sessions in Bret showcases this perfectly. There is no doubt that his Wigwam debut will also be of a similar nature.
