Nathan ClareEthereal Skies welcome TAAHLIAH and Soria to The Racket Space on Thursday, December 22nd for an intimate club show during the midst of the festive season. Following on from their debut party with Dark0 last month Ethereal Skies remain dedicated to providing a platform for experimental electronic music in Dublin and afar.
Ethereal Skies return with their latest party. This time, they are joined by illustrious artists TAAHLIAH and Soria with Ethereal Skies resident DJ and co-founder Sean Murray opening proceedings on the night. This will be an evening filled with a variety of sounds ranging from techno to hard dance, experimental pop and so on during the course of the event!
TAAHLIAH initially made her name as a DJ within the queer scenes of Glasgow and Berlin. She has since become a formidable producer, as she released her debut album on untitled (recs) last year. TAAHLIAH has confidently cemented her position amongst the main players of the electronic music landscape. Earning extensive praise from her peers including Mary Anne Hobbs, VTSS, Loraine James, and Sherelle, who have collaborated with her both on stage and in the studio.
TAAHLIAH has been making waves at numerous parties and festivals across the UK and Europe such as ‘Teletech’, Slam’s ‘Pressure’, ‘XXL’, ‘Dour Festival’, VTSS’s ‘For Your Entertainment’, Shlømo’s ‘Welcome Back Devil’ & Maya Jane Coles ‘HE.SHE.THEY’.
Main support for TAAHLIAH will be provided by Dublin’s own Soria. Soria has earned herself a solid reputation as a DJ with her trance infused and genre bending sets and as a producer and live performer and has become one of the most exciting experimental talents in Ireland in recent times. Soria’s musical influences range from ambient to 90s trance, hard house and pop, all of which can be heard through her unique musical output.
Soria made recent a appearance in the Izakaya Basement where she played an extended all night long set. She has also performed at other notable parties like ‘Dublin Modular’ while playing live and DJing at ‘Thrust’, ‘Club Comfort’ and ‘Honeypot’. Accumulating a massive support slot for I.Jordan, and making international appearances in Berlin, Prague and Lisbon too.
There seems to be absolutely no slowing down for her. As Soria also holds a residency with acclaimed queer electronic party ‘Strawberries’, based in Dublin. We have no doubt that Ethereal Skies upcoming party will be an unforgettable one! Act fast.
