Dublin’s newest techno party, Valhalla debuts this Friday with one of the biggest techno showcases of the year as they take over two rooms at Here & Now Club. The show will be headlined by contemporary record connoisseurs Slin & Tarkano, who will perform on multiple decks, with support from some of Ireland’s top local DJs, including Aero, Dylan Fogarty, and Shannen Blessing, among many others.

Valhalla will host their debut party this Friday with Two of the most promising young techno artists and vinyl aficionados in the techno scene right now, Slin & Tarkno. Both DJs have been turning heads through their commitment to the purist form of playing techno, as they dive deep into the art of playing records. Both Slin & Tarkno push the limits in performing with records as they flex their skills on multiple decks.

The party also play’s host to some of Ireland’s finest techno selctor’s, showcasing some of Ireland’s most dedicated techno purists under one roof. Among the local act’s is Skerries wonder boy, Dylan Fogarty who been radidly ascending through the techno community within the last 12 months as he boasts gigs across Europe, North America, Africa and more, the Dublin groove dealer, is one of the most exciting prospects in techno right now.

Aero & Shannen Blessing join Dylan in the main room, as they link up for their second B2B set of the year. Both DJs studied under Sunil Sharpe at BIFE, and have since become cornerstones of the Irish techno scene, regaularly playing across the country as both trusted warm-up acts & blistering headliners. This will be multi-deck madness. DJ Optik opens proceedings in the main room, and the Dublin-native posses one of the deepest loop-driven record collections in the capital. Playing frequently across Berlin and Dublin, Optik’s vision of techno leans on vintage hypnotic traditions as well as house & dub flavours, creating a cocktail of groove-laced techno heaven that’s perfectly designed to keep hips shaking.

The second room continues on a storngfoot with Research resident Taint headlining the roopm with his punishing brand of hard-edged hypnotic techno, Taint posses the most experinece behind the wheel on the full lineup, and you can expect that pulsate through every transition and selection he makes. Joining Taint is Disintegrated boss and Hidden Love co-owner, Erik Burka. The hardgroove technician will be laying down percussive warfare as he races throug 90’s soaked cuts at full tilt.

DLRM boss Ackerman throws down in the second room with an ecelectic selection of dancefloor cuts, as James sweeps through proggy acid tools right through to jarring techno shuffle jams. Collie & Prince Prada complete the bill with a chunky house and techno finish, as both selectors are known for breaking the rules describing this one is tricky, expect a varied pallete of danecfloor gems and dynamic mixing from the off.
