You can’t beat the atmosphere at a football match and you definitely can’t beat the atmosphere in a club environment so why not bring both together?

Luckily, the good people at Hangar are doing just that and converting their warehouse into the ideal Fanzone for all the die hard Liverpool fans out there to come and watch their two upcoming Champions League ties against Italian giants Roma which will take place tonight and then next Wednesday night.

The venue have held similar events for some of Ireland’s international football and rugby matches and given the number of die hard Liverpool fans in the country, hosting their two biggest games of the season only makes sense.

Liverpool hold their own when it comes to electronic music heritage among Premier League football teams, with former club legend Emile Heskey popularising the DJ celebration (pictured above) and fellow cult hero Djibril Cissé becoming a DJ after his journeyman football career.

The fan zone will kick off at 6pm with free drink and food there on arrival. The Wednesday edition will see an appearance from Liverpool and Irish legend Jason McAteer who will be on hand for a meet and greet with all the eager fans out there, making the occasion even more special if the reds manage to progress past the Italians.

Tickets are available here, or you can join their Facebook event here.
