Sam GreenwoodThree day Portsmouth festival Victorious has managed to get their hands on one of the most iconic groups in dance music history, The Prodigy, for an exclusive UK festival show.
The festival itself takes place on the August bank holiday weekend (24th-26th) and promises to be a mix of live bands and DJ sets, with Paul Weller announced as the other headliner accompanying the British trio.
The three have most definitely slowed down as regards touring and production in recent years, however they enjoyed successful periods since the release of their latest two albums Invaders Must Die and The Day is my Enemy which featured huge tracks like ‘Omen’ and ‘Nasty’.
Their most recent tour, which dates back to 2015, featured stops in Dublin and Cork in the wake of their album release, where they were supported by the equally legendary group that is Public Enemy.
