RTÉ have announced the closure of all their digital channels.

RTÉ have announced huge cuts as they plan to reduce costs by €60 Million from years 2020 to 2023. They plan to cut digital radio stations, RTÉ 2XM, RTÉ Pulse, RTÉ Gold, RTÉjr Radio & RTÉ Radio 1 Extra as part of a revised strategy for the coming years.

Among the digital radio stations being cut is RTÉ Pulse. Pulse has been home to many international dance music DJs as well as a huge local roster. Hosting shows like Dave Clarke’s White Noise, Eats Everything’s Edible Beats, Flashmob’s show and many more, RTÉ Pulse like its other neighboring channels has provided a varied selection of music to the airwaves over the years and it’s a great shame to see it go.
