Creeping up just around the corner is Scrobarnach Electronic Music Society’s 2017 edition. This year the festival has stepped up their game in bookings with huge techno headliners like Ansome, stranger, Neil Landstrumm, Head Front Panel, DeFeKT and many more. They’ve also just announced their new Junction Stage.

As well as the announcement of the Junction Stage, they have announced their new venue, Ballindenisk Equestrian Centre in Cork.

As far as we know there are four music stages; Lá Tech (Main Stage), The Bush Bar (Disco and House), Doppler Lab (Psy Trance, D’n’B, HipHop & MC’s) and the Junction Stage.

The main stage takes host to all the headliners are mentioned above whilst also welcoming Jamie Behan, RLSD Dublin (Doug Cooney & Philip Gavin Jr.), Techno & Cans (Sam Greenwood, Tommy Holohan & Jake Nolan), Caílin and more to be announced.

The Bush Bar welcomes Toast Dublin who will be doing a full day take over with Boots & Kats, Mitch Presents and more residents, also on the stage will be The Disconauts, Colman Buckley, Four Four Soundsystem and more to be announced.

The Junction stage which hosts the new headliner will serve as a late night stage hosting everything you need from Chicago and acid house to deep, Detroit techno.

The Doppler Lab by day has a Cuttin Headz collective takeover and by night a Puzzle takeover featuring CODE, welfare, Entropy and more to be announced.

There will also be some installments with The Funkin Kitchen providing food and the Fleetwood Craic Stage which hosts Comedy, Karaoke & World Music. A series of art installations will be spread throughout the venue with some live graffiti being provided by CowboysDavie, Good Vibrations Crew and many more. Scrobarnach have also noted an Eden Village which is a chill out area and also an 80’s game arcade installation.
