Full Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
   1.1 This competition is open to legal residents of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland who are aged 25 years or over at the time of entry.
   1.2 Proof of age, identity, and residency may be required and must be provided upon request.
   1.3 Employees of Diageo Ireland, Electric Picnic, Four Four Magazine, their affiliated companies, agencies, suppliers, or any associated third parties involved in the competition, including their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling), are not eligible to enter.
   1.4 DJs nominated for the prize must be 25 years or older and legally permitted to perform at public events within the jurisdiction of Electric Picnic 2025.
2. How to Enter
   2.1 The competition will be promoted via two Smirnoff Invites episodes and supporting media content.
   2.2 To enter, individuals must nominate a DJ by tagging their social media handle in the comments of the official competition post on Four Four Magazine’s official social media channels.
   2.3 Self-nominations will not be accepted. All nominations must be made by a third party.
3. Competition Timeline

• Competition Launch: Fri, 15th August
• Nominations Close: Wed 20th August at 11:55 AM
• Shortlisting by Judging Panel: Wed 20th August
• Finalists Contacted & Confirmed: Thurs 21st August
• Mix Submission Window (for finalists): Thurs 21st – Sunday 24th
• Final Judging: Monday 25th August
• Winner Contacted: Tuesday 26th August
• Electric Picnic Performance: Winner must be available for one slot over the festival weekend (29–31 August 2025)

4. Selection Process & Prize
   4.1 A panel of independent music industry judges will review eligible nominations and shortlist five (5) finalists based on talent, originality, community backing, and suitability for the Smirnoff Sound Nation stage.
   4.2 Finalists will be contacted by direct message and must confirm their eligibility and availability by Wednesday, 13th August 2025. 
   4.3 Each finalist will be invited to submit an original 30-45 minute DJ mix, plus a short artist bio or creative statement, by Sunday, 17th August 2025.
   4.4 The judging panel will select one winning mix. The winner will be announced on Thursday, 21st August 2025.
   4.5 The winner will receive the opportunity to perform at the Smirnoff Stage at Electric Picnic 2025 under the Smirnoff Sound Nation banner.
   4.6 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours or is unable to perform, another finalist may be selected at the judges’ discretion.
   
5. Expenses and Participation
   5.1 Unless explicitly stated, travel, accommodation, food, drink, insurance, and any other expenses associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
   5.2 The winner must comply with all safety, conduct, and technical requirements set by Electric Picnic and its production partners.
6. Publicity and Intellectual Property
   6.1 By participating, entrants and nominees agree that Smirnoff, Diageo, and Four Four Magazine may use their name, image, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes relating to this competition and Electric Picnic 2025, without additional compensation.
   6.2 Entrants confirm that any submitted content (including mixes and images) is their own original work and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
7. Data Protection
   7.1 Personal data collected during the competition will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
8. General Terms
   8.1 The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time due to circumstances beyond their control.
   8.2 The Promoters accept no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, lost, delayed, or not received due to technical issues.
   8.3 By entering, all participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
   8.4 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by Irish law, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
9. Promoter
   This competition is a collaboration between Four Four Magazine, media and promotional partner. The prize is sponsored by Diageo trading as Smirnoff
