Black Traffic and Kayleigh Noble unexpectedly collide on “Holding On,” a trance-tinged, euphoric track that blends her melodic R&B and alt-pop sensibilities with his dark, club-infused production.

Dublin-born vocalist and songwriter Kayleigh Noble has carved a name for herself with her seamless blend of R&B, alt-pop, and dance influences, building a reputation as one of Ireland’s most versatile emerging voices.

On the production side, Black Traffic, the electronic alias of Scott, known for crafting dark, club-leaning cuts with a melodic edge, has been steadily rising through Ireland’s underground, with releases and sets that bring together warehouse energy and emotional texture. The two artists who first crossed paths in Ibiza have come together on a new track that blends their sounds in a way that feels instinctive rather than forced.

The collaboration came together almost accidentally, but the result is a fluid blend of trance-weighted production and soft, melodic vocals. Built from a session intended for a different track, the vocal sits over a more atmospheric, emotionally charged side of his sound, bringing out the melodic detail in his production. The pairing creates something that feels both weightless and driving, a trance-influenced cut with a warmer edge. It captures the overlap between his softer creative instincts and Kayleigh’s ability to elevate a track without overpowering it, resulting in a release that leans into euphoria rather than intensity. With support from Neo Trance, the Rave Alerts sub-label, the track signals a shared direction rather than a one-off experiment.

“Especially with my working on some more dance stuff as of lately, the timing was actually perfect. He gave me loads of creative freedom, which made the whole process feel really natural and fun. Which I appreciate as a singer and songwriter. The track came together really naturally, and when he messaged to say it was dropping, I was buzzing,” said Kayleigh

“We are grateful for their support and belief in the project. I’m super excited to get this track out with a very exciting and talented fellow Irish artist. You can definitely expect to hear more from me and Kayleigh in the future.”- Black Traffic
