Today we premiere the music video and track from the brilliant Cork based producer and videographer, Cristian Cruceru over on our YouTube and SoundCloud channels.

Romanian born Irish-based artist Cristian Cruceru lands his debut release with delicate techno number ‘Rope Walk’, marking the beginning of a new musical venture for the director and visual artist.

‘Rope Walk’ is a dubby, texture-rich slow jam with an accompanying video that finds Cruceru on form for those familiar with his visual work. No stranger to the Irish electronic scene, his time as head visual and lighting engineer at the sadly defunct Dali in Cork saw him perform visual sets for the likes of Jon Hopkins and Christian Loffler, from whom the track takes influence.

“An an ever-evolving feedback loop of sound and visuals, ‘Rope Walk’ reflects a precarious intensity, breathing grimy textures into spaces of solitary collapse.”

The track marks the first of a series of A/V explorations to be released over the next six months, so he’s certainly one-to-watch over the coming months. You can download the track for free via Cristian Cruceru’s Bandcamp page here.

Rope Walk also premiered over on our SoundCloud page, which you can stream below.
