Shiv1. Ticket Issuance
1.1 Tickets are issued by Four Four Magazine (“the Promoter”) in partnership with Block, Dublin (“the Venue”) for the Block event taking place on Friday, Oct 2nd at 13-14 Liberty Lane, Portobello, Dublin, D08 NF86(“the Event”).
1.2 All tickets are free of charge and are issued strictly subject to these Terms & Conditions. By registering for or accepting a ticket, the holder agrees to be bound by them.
1.3 Tickets are issued via Scope Tickets. A confirmation email does not itself guarantee entry.
- Entry & Capacity
2.1 The Event operates on a strict capacity limit. Entry is not guaranteed by ticket possession alone and is allocated on a first come, first served basis on the night.
2.2 Once the Venue reaches capacity, no further entry will be permitted, regardless of ticket status. The Promoter and Venue accept no liability for ticket holders who do not gain entry as a result of capacity being reached.
2.3 Attendees are strongly advised to arrive early. Estimated doors/entry times will be communicated in advance but may be subject to change.
2.4 The Promoter and Venue reserve the right of admission and may refuse entry, at their sole discretion, including (without limitation) for reasons of capacity, safety, intoxication, or conduct.
3. Age & ID
3.1 This is an 18+ event. Valid photographic ID is required for entry and must match the name on the ticket.
3.2 Entry may be refused without a valid ID.
4. Transfer & Resale
4.1 Tickets are non-transferable except where explicitly permitted by the Promoter, and must not be resold or offered for resale, including via third-party or secondary ticketing sites. Tickets found to have been resold may be cancelled.
4.2 Tickets may not be used for competitions, promotions, or as part of any commercial activity without the Promoter’s prior written consent.
5. Changes & Cancellation
5.1 The Promoter reserves the right to alter the Event line-up, timings, running order, or venue details without prior notice. Where reasonably possible, changes will be communicated to ticket holders in advance.
5.2 In the event of cancellation or postponement, the Promoter will notify ticket holders via the contact details provided at registration. As tickets are free of charge, no monetary compensation will be payable in these circumstances.
6. Search & Conduct
6.1 Attendees may be subject to search on entry as a condition of admission, in line with Venue policy.
6.2 Prohibited items (including but not limited to illegal substances, weapons, and professional recording equipment without prior authorisation) will be confiscated and/or refused entry.
6.3 The Promoter and Venue operate a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, harassment, or aggression. Attendees engaging in such conduct may be removed from the Event without refund or compensation.
7. Health & Safety
7.1 Attendance is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The Promoter and Venue are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property except where caused by their proven negligence.
7.2 Attendees must comply with all instructions given by Venue staff, security, and event stewards for reasons of safety.
8. Photography, Filming & Content
8.1 By attending, ticket holders consent to being photographed and filmed as part of general Event coverage, and acknowledge that resulting content (including for BPM, Four Four Magazine, and Venue promotional use) may be used across social, digital, and marketing channels without further notice or compensation.
8.2 Any attendee who does not wish to be included in photography or filming should notify event staff on the night, who will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.
8.3 Professional photography, filming, or recording equipment is not permitted without the Promoter’s prior written consent.
8.4 When recording videos on your phone, please turn off the flash.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data collected as part of ticket registration (including waiting list sign-up) will be processed in accordance with Four Four’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (GDPR / UK GDPR as relevant to jurisdiction).
9.2 By registering, attendees consent to being contacted regarding ticket release, entry updates, and future marketing communications from Four Four and event partners.
10. General
10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of the Event will apply.
10.2 These Terms do not affect the ticket holder’s statutory rights.
