Dublin based DJ, promoter and Woozy label boss EMA makes her long awaited return to Hoer Berlin this week after a 3 year hiatus. For those of you who missed the live recording, you can expect an hour filled with deep dubs, sub shaking rhythms and curveballs throughout.
Emma Gilliland (EMA) has built a reputation for herself in becoming one of Ireland’s most skilled and sought after DJs in recent years. Boasting a DJ CV that most DJs could only dream of. Appearances on Boiler Room, Hoer Berlin, NTS, Rinse FM as well as hosting her own radio show ‘Sauce’ on DDR speaks volumes. Not to mention countless festival appearances, some of which include All Together Now, Body & Soul, AVA, Floorless and more.
Finding herself as an integral part of Skin&Blister, a Dublin based platform devoted to nurturing and encouraging female identifying, trans and non-binary creatives in the realm of music and the arts. Skin&Blister has aided in introducing and propelling numerous DJs and creatives to new heights within the Irish creative industry. Some of which include Mercorn, Rhyzine, Pauline and many more.
Given EMA’s deep library that she has built over the years she has earned herself support slots for the likes of Skee Mask, Lone, and CCL. Back to backs with Sputnik One, ELLLL and EICH, while also playing in clubs like Fabric, Paloma, Griessmuehle and Index is a great indicator of how talented a DJ EMA is.
EMA’s sets remain consistently diverse, breath-taking and enjoyable as she has honed her skills as one of Ireland’s finest DJs. This set is no different. As she has provided us with a masterpiece mix that would leave any dance music fan curious and eager to hear more.
