This Saturday marks Record Store Day 2025, and we’re shining the spotlight on a collection of essential recent releases from Irish-owned labels and artists.

We celebrate the diverse and eclectic sounds emerging from the Irish electronic scene. From gritty techno to soulful house, these 18 records showcase the ever-growing creativity and innovation coming from our small but vibrant hub of talent in Ireland.

HR101 – Love Generator [Earwiggle]

Sunil Sharpe’s Earwiggle has become a hub for the weird, stomping, and rave-infused corners of the techno spectrum, and HR101’s debut on the Dublin label delivers just that. Anthemic techno and electro that nods to the 90s, brimming with ecstasy-laced glory.

Chris Flannigan – DW-06 [HARDLINE]

Belfast’s Chris Flannigan blends influences from techno, garage, house, and trance for Bristol-based label HARDLINE’s Drum Workout series. A 5AM-style euphoric record from an up-and-comer who is releasing music at a rapid rate.

Or:la released her debut album on fabric Originals last autumn, a conceptual work deeply inspired by both Irish and ancient Greek mythology. The album weaves a powerful narrative exploring themes of sapphic love, sisterhood, and resilience.

Collie – Scorched EP [Outstraight Records]

Dublin’s Collie dropped his debut at the tail end of last year, a proggy, sun-kissed 4-tracker made for big festival tents, boat parties, and open-air raves. It’s a nod to the Dublin of old from the Dublin of newschool.

Kerri Chandler – Lost & Found EP Vol 3 Ft Abbie Lee [Kaoz Theory]

Kerri Chandler returns to his Kaoz Theory label with the third volume of his Lost & Found series. Opening the release, Cork native Abbie Lee delivers Let It (Give Me Back My Love), a soul-drenched deep house cut laced with an unmistakable Irish touch.

Shanti Celeste – Ice Cream Dream Boy (The Remixes) [Ft Saoirse Remix]

Shanti Celeste dropped an impressive remix pack of her track “Ice Cream Dream Boy” last year, enlisting house music’s finest producers, including MoMa Ready, Peach, Dublin’s Saoirse, and more. Saoirse’s rework is a deep, pulsating twist that pulls us into rolling tribal territories—some might even say Villalobos-esque.

Spektrum II, Featuring Dylan Fogarty [Life In Patterns]

Parisian techno imprint Life In Patterns released an impressive 16-track, 2×12-inch record featuring some of contemporary techno’s finest producers, each showcasing their take on seminal dub and loop-driven techno. 49th & Main – Happy Tears

49th & Main have been riding a wave of success recently, and their debut album Happy Tears is set to be their biggest and most anticipated release yet. Collaborations with Shee, mustbejohn, Brandon Nembhard, and A Little Sound add extra weight to an album already destined for success.

Spriitzz – Where R U [Spray]

Berlin-based Spray finally releases his long-awaited debut under the Spriitzz alias, an ode to the coppery early morning shifts on Ibiza dancefloors. It’s an unapologetically nostalgia-driven record that delivers exactly what it promises—and does it exceptionally well.

Dorbachov – Ellesmere Street EP [Scrap & Delete]

Irish-born, Manchester-based Dorbachov delivers steamrolling, high-energy, fast-paced 90s-style techno, with formative producer Invexis on remix duty. It’s upfront, relentless techno that doesn’t compromise on soul.
