We spotlight five collectives, each from a different county, pushing their own distinct vision of club culture, yet united by a shared goal: to move the culture forward.

Meet the crews who are redefining Irish club culture with raw aesthetics, bold curation, and a true sense of community. From warehouse raves to queer-led dancefloors, these are championing nightlife in their hometowns.

Select, Sligo

Select Sligo has been the premier club night in Sligo in recent years, consistently championing the local scene while bringing a diverse mix of international and homegrown talent to the stage. Known for their eclectic bookings, they’ve hosted everyone from New York’s DJ Swisha to Dublin’s Surka, all while spotlighting their residents—Notjack, Etrah, Realm—and showcasing fellow Sligo artists like Nestor and RYALL. Their events are embedded in DIY venues, from The Swagman to The Penthouse, reinforcing their deep community roots and commitment to cultivating Sligo’s vibrant nightlife.

milk, Cork

Cork’s milk is party run by queers, for queers and their allies. Centred around inclusivity, expression, and community, milk aims to spotlight LGBTQ+ artists while creating a safe, welcoming space where dancers can truly be themselves. Their parties celebrate the fun, party-focused side of club culture—music made for the brighter edges of the dancefloor canon. It’s a vibrant celebration of queer talent, diversity, and unity, with past guests including Mercorn, Dark Mavis, Airhead, and more.

TWISTD, Belfast

Belfast’s TWISTD collective channels the city’s passion for fast, abrasive, and in-your-face strains of electronic music. Whether it’s the pace-driven percussion of Mark Broom or the no-holds-barred bangers from hometown hero IMNOTYOURMATE, TWISTD taps into Belfast’s appetite for intensity, louder, faster, brighter. The result is a high-energy party experience that goes all in on sound, lights, and raw momentum. Run by Kyle and Paudie, who are also part of Visual Spectrum, TWISTD brings a festival-style production to the club setting, transforming familiar dancefloors into jaw-dropping audiovisual shows.

AT.IT, Limerick

AT.IT have quickly become front-runners in Limerick’s new wave of club promoters, carving out a name through a mix of community focus and ecstasy-laced party energy. They’ve hosted a wide range of local and international acts, spotlighted hardworking artists and crews from Limerick and surrounding counties, and even raised nearly €2,000 for mental health charities through their events. Whether it’s championing grassroots talent or bringing Scottish rave heavyweights Clouds to Pharmacia, AT.IT are building a track record for throwing full-throttle parties and their future is looking bright.

Scarlet, Dublin

There’s D.I.Y., and then there’s Dublin’s Scarlet, who are quite literally building everything from the ground up. Whether it’s hauling sound systems into derelict buildings or transforming warehouses into rave bunkers, Scarlet is reminding us of what a grassroots party can be. With handcrafted sound systems, community-building workshops, and some of the country’s best DJs across the club spectrum, they’ve created a space where only the most worthy get to play on their mighty rigs. From championing live sets by the likes of Florbit to the futuristic sounds of Aldar AGD, Scarlet is committed to keeping everything raw, immersive, and undeniably real.
