Max HeyraudOpen House Dublin and Give Us The Night are teaming up for a moving tour through the city’s vanished clubs, legendary venues and uncertain nightlife future on a double-decker bus on October 14th.
The interactive tour will revisit vanished venues and changing neighbourhoods, with DJs, promoters, historians and architects sharing stories and memories along the way. Tour guides include Brian McMahon (Brand New Retro), Eileen Coghlan (ex-Hangar, The Lost Society) and Sunil Sharpe (Give Us The Night).
Passengers will also be invited to contribute their own nightlife memories and ideas for the future, as the tour considers what Dublin can learn from its lost dancefloors, and where new spaces for music, culture and community might emerge.
Lost and Found explores the relationship between nightlife and the city itself. Clubs don’t exist in isolation; they depend on buildings, transport, neighbourhoods, planning decisions and communities. When those conditions change, nightlife changes with them.
