Max HeyraudA new weekly night dedicated entirely to all-live hardware is launching at the Basement of Sin É in Dublin this weekend.
Titled Being Sarah’s Basement and curated by Dublin producer Luke Barnett under his Being Sarah alias, the night will feature two specialist producers each week, performing live using hardware machines.
The concept is deliberately stripped back, with each edition exploring synthesis, sequencing, rhythm and electronic music performance in real time.
The new night will be a weekly platform for experimentation, a focus on the hardware itself, and an opportunity for producers working outside the mainstream to perform in front of an audience.
