Max HeyraudIntroducing Basadi Club Summer Market Party, an eclectic gathering of women-led businesses and independent creatives, bringing together shopping, food and community with a day party at The Hen’s Teeth this Sunday, in collaboration with HERSET.
The event is rooted in Basadi Club’s Southern African heritage. The word Basadi translates to “women”, and the concept was created to spotlight the talent and creativity of women already making their mark across Ireland.
It is a mix of independent brands, food and community with plenty of opportunity to try something new whilst supporting local businesses. The idea is deliberately social: come to shop, stay for the music, grab a bite to eat, and meet people along the way.
For its pilot event, Basadi Club is partnering with HERSET, a platform dedicated to championing women in music. A line-up of women DJs will curate the soundtrack throughout the day, bringing the energy from market browsing into full-on dancing.
