The women and gender-expansive artist development platform Change the Beat will take over fabric on 15 October for a 12-hour programme of industry panels, networking, an exhibition and a club night.

Running from 3PM to 3AM, the programme includes panels on DJ bookings, label deals and artist representation, featuring industry professionals from Broadwick Live, HE.SHE.THEY, Hospital Records, Toolroom and CAA.

A networking mixer will follow from 7PM to 10PM, alongside the Women Who Shaped Electronic Music photo exhibition, celebrating artists including Honey Dijon, Annie Mac, DJ Minx, Maya Jane Coles and Sister Bliss.

The club night takes place in fabric’s Main Room from 10PM, with TSHA, Kitty Amor, Sydney Blu, Emily Nash and N1NJA on the lineup.

Founded by Sydney Blu, Change the Beat supports women and gender-expansive artists through education, mentorship and industry connections. Proceeds from the club night will fund its artist development programme, which aims to help 300 artists secure label opportunities by 2028.
