Dublin is welcoming back an old favourite, with Rain Nightclub reopening at Portobello Bar.
The club officially relaunched last Saturday, March 21st, with a clear focus on the over-30s crowd and a mission to offer something different on the city’s nightlife scene.
Positioning itself as a space where great music, atmosphere, and a more mature vibe take centre stage, Rain is tapping into a sense of nostalgia with a soundtrack spanning from the 1980s through to the early 2000s. The concept is simple but effective: create an environment where experienced clubbers can enjoy themselves without the intensity of younger, student-heavy venues.
Doors open at 10:30PM every Friday and Saturday, running through to 3AM. Saturday nights are exclusively for those aged 30 and over, giving guests the chance to relax and enjoy a night out in a setting designed with them in mind.
Rain’s return reflects a growing trend in nightlife, where venues are beginning to cater more deliberately to over-30s audiences. The club is part of a wider shift towards more accessible and inclusive clubbing experiences for those who still want to go out, but on their own terms.
