DÚIL arrives to Wigwam Terrace this Saturday with their inaugrual event presenting an all-FLINTA+ lineup dedicated to championing underrepresented talent within Ireland’s club scene.

Named after the Irish word dúil, meaning both desire and element, the collective places community, inclusivity and sonic freedom at the centre of its vision. Drawing on Ireland’s cultural identity while looking outward to a global electronic music landscape, DÚIL aims to create safer dancefloors that foreground local selectors, emerging artists and voices that have historically been underrepresented.

The launch party reflects that ethos, with a lineup curated by founder Bláthnaid featuring Kaycee, Surka, Shauna Dee, Jenn Hession, ESKAY, Emore, and Unity. Spanning house, techno, drum & bass, bounce, and beyond, the event embraces a dancefloor-first approach, moving beyond genre boundaries to create a shared experience rooted in energy, movement, and connection.

While the opening showcase focuses exclusively on FLINTA+ artists, the collective describes this as the beginning of a broader mission to build an all-inclusive electronic music community rooted in Éire. By weaving the Irish language into its identity, DÚIL reimagines how Gaeilge can exist within contemporary club culture, connecting tradition with a new generation of dance music communities.
