Waterford is set to host one of the most boundary-pushing electronic music festivals of the year from January 30th to February 1st.

For one weekend, the city transforms into a micro-ecosystem of electronic pop-ups: live jams, deep-listening sessions, mindful movement, and intimate sound environments. Think ADE, reimagined for Waterford.

Crossed Wires turns the standard Irish dance music festival on its head. No big stages. No strobes. Instead, Crossed Wires flips the format entirely, offering a site-specific electronic experience where sound, architecture and community are equally tuned.

After a run of sell-out shows in its debut year, Crossed Wires doubles down on its core idea: forward-thinking electronic music presented in spaces that fundamentally reshape how it’s heard and felt. Museums, cafés, record shops and laneways become active participants in the electronic music experience.
