One of Dublins most adored venues Yamamori Tengu opens its doors after a lengthy 19 months away from the dance-floor on October 22nd. It comes ready with a forward thinking and diverse lineup comprised of an Irish headline show, an Irish debut and the return of NTS resident Nabihah Iqbal for a Sunday party. We love the multifariousness of this lineup and it’s a fantastic way to open up their doors.
On the opening day of nightclubs Tengu present Radiant Love resident Cait for a special sold out open to close set, Cait knows how to bring the energy to the floor so a 4 hour set on the opening night will be special.
On Saturday we see the much anticipated Dublin debut of South London don selector Riz La Teef alongside Baliboc. South London Pressings boss man will spin a selction of bass heavy dubplates, dishing out prime UK Garage, Grime and Dubstep cuts with extra rewinds. Dress to sweat for this one.
For the final night of the weekender Nabihah Iqbal returns for her second Irish show. The NTS resident is one of the most respected selectors selectors and broadcasters in the UK with an extensive musical knowledge. Nabihah Iqbal comes a vast record collection for a special Sunday in Dublin, paired with the fact its the closing night of the opening weekend in Tengu means that it will be an exceptional night. Dublin selector will join on support to set the mood.
All in all, we’re in for a big weekend at the Dublin City venue.
