This Friday Beyond The Pale open its gates for its debut edition and it’s got stacked lineup to mark the occasion. We took a look at ten must see acts that will touch down at the valleys of the spectacular Glendalough Estate from the 10th – 12th of June.

Beyond the Pale‘s lineup of acts offers a hugely diverse lineup of music and art, curated with the Irish zeitgeist in mind. With this in mind we thought it would be only right to dissect the lineup and pick who is on our hit list to catch at Beyond the Pale this time next month.

Orbital

The first one is an absolute no brainer, one of the most iconic electronic music duo’s, Orbital. The pair have released some of the most notable rave records of all time, and their live sets are stuff off legend. This is a must see.

HAAi

Haai is known for her energetic and broad spanning DJ sets, which are sure to lite up the grounds of Glendalough Estate next month. From ‘Essential Mix Of The Year’ to remixing the Chemical Brothers, Haai is one of the fastest growing DJs of this generation. Don’t miss her at Beyond the Pale.

Leon Vynehall [Live]

Leon Vynehall is one of the most celebrated electronic producers to come out of the UK in recent times. Releases on Ninja Tune, Running Back, Royal Oak and more have become household favourites to dance music lovers all over the world. His live set at Beyond the Pale will be a trip through intricate soundscapes and funky rhythms.

Ben Ufo

Ben Ufo has been one of the most in demand and honoured DJs of the last decade. Whirl winding sets all over the globe, consistent Rinse FM show’s, numerous Boiler Room appearances.. Ben has done it all, and there’s plenty more to come from the encyclopaedia of dance music. Join Ben Ufo for a musical education at Beyond the Pale.

Sama’ Abdulhadi

Sama Abdulhadi is one of the first DJs to rise to international stardom from Palestine and she’s showcasing her powerful set’s all over the globe. Punchy and energetic techno cuts will be on display from Sama’ Abdulhadi at Beyond the Pale this year.

Four Tet

We return to the headliners and once again, Four Tet was always going to be on the list. One of the most innovative producers in electronic music, touches down at Glendalough Estate for a masterclass in forward thinking rhythms. This is an absolute must see.

New Jackson [Live]

New Jackson is a true Irish dance music gem and his live sets are a deep and vast journey through the history of electronic music. Kitt blends acoustic based rhythms with hardware synths to great affect. This will a beautiful trip through New Jackson’s authenticate sound.

Bonobo

Bonobo is one of the most anticipated acts at Beyond the Pale this year. The British musician has been nominated for multiple grammys, reached number 1 on the billboard charts for dance music album and collaborated with artists such as Jon Hopkins, Gorrilaz, London Grammar and more. His resume is the stuff of legend. Don’t miss out on his set at Beyond the Pale.

Boy Harsher

Boy Harsher are know for their darker and experimental means of production, which evoke eerie and intense emotions. They have a cult following and whenever they touch down in Ireland, it’s an absolute must. We can’t wait for this one.

CiCi

CiCi has been rising through the ranks within the techno scene in recent times. Featuring on weighty lineups including Circoloco in Ibiza, Boiler Room in London, Fabric London, as well as being tipped as one of Mixmag’s Breakthrough DJs of 2021. It’s fair to say the Irish native is seeing her fair share of success. We look forward to checking out CiCi at Beyond the Pale.
