We take a closer look at the juggernaut of a lineup from Fuinneamh Festival, and selected 10 must see artists playing at this years iteration of the festival. The festival boasts it’s most diverse lineup to date, hosting an array of sounds from EBM-infused techno, through to live-ghetto house, and jungle.

Fuinneamh Festival is back in just 2 weeks and this years lineup is erupting with talent all across the lineup, as they host everything from trad to techno. The two-day gathering hosts techno icons, daring up & comer, avante garde live acts, and so much more. There’s a little something for anyone who likes to dance to the beat of the drum on one of Ireland’s best festival grounds. Ellen Allien

The Queen of Berlin techno Ellen Allien arrives to Ireland for the first time since 2019, and she’ll be bringing a wide-range of hard-edged grooves to soundtrack her debut at Fuinneamh. The BPitch boss is a bonafide techno legend, and her deep knowledge of club music is second to none, expect masterclass.

DJ HEARTSTRING

DJ HEARTSTRING‘s rise to notoriety within the electronic music scene has been gripping trance fuelled journey. The eurodance giants have become a staple across the globe on festival lineups, and regularly feature across revered parties and club spaces. It goes without saying these guys are party starters.

Cormac

Panorama Bar regular and Polari boss Cormac is a staple in Berlin’s queer scene, soundtracking dancefloors with his high-energy house sound that is oozing with fun. The Northern-Irish DJ is known as one of the most revered selectors in Europe today, carving out a name as a DJ who can resurrect a party from it’s ashes with his unique brand of dancefloor primed cuts.

Player

One of the true legends of 00’s UK techno, the enigmatic Player alias remains very much a mystery to many fans. What is known is that the producer has unleashed an unparalleled amount of funk-laced techno into the club-scene over the course of two decades. Following his Irish debut earlier this year, you know it’s going to be time for booty shaking.

SPFDJ

Swedish born, Berlin-based SPFDJ returns to Ireland to play at Fuinneamh and she’s bringing her dingy techno sound with her. Abrasive kick drums, jarring percussion and relentless energy are just some of the things on display at an SPFDJ. A regular on Irish soil, that many ravers are familiar with, if you’ve witnessed the energy you’ll know what to expect, and if you haven’t strap yourself in.

MCR-T & Miss Bashful

MCR-T & Miss Bashful will be bringing a little slice of Berlin to Bellurgann Park this September as they showcase their Irish debut show. The pair’s hybrid show layers ghetto, techno, and pop, whilst infusing live vocals and playful crowd interactions, this is nothing like Fuinneamh has ever seen before.

X CLUB.

Aussie techno duo X CLUB. have been making waves within the dance music scene within recent times, grabbing the attention of ravers with their warehouse tinged sound that pays homage to 90’s techno and trance. Having played across Ireland on a number of occasions in a short space of time, they’ve carved out a core group of devoted fans on our Ireland. Expect thunderous grooves and playful rhythms.

Yasmin Gardezi B2B IMNOTYOURMATE

There’s not much to say about these two Irish star’s that hasn’t been said before, both Yasmin Gardezi and IMNOTYOURMATE have enjoyed meteoric rises within the Irish scene as of late. The pair enjoy the harder shades of techno, while still keeping the party spirit well and truly alive in their sets. From hard trance, industrial techno, hard techno, hardstyle and much more, these two are guaranteed to push dancers to their limits.

Ricky Force

One of Ireland’s most distinguished drum & bass artists Ricky Force touches down at Fuinneamh 2023. The Dublin roller has enjoyed a fruitful few years releasing on Deep Jungle Records, Amenology, Safe Raver and more. The Irish junglist has playing across the country too holding it down at Bow Lane, Wigwam, as well as touching down across the UK & USA. Expect nothing less than a masterclass.

Space Dimension Controller

Belfast native Space Dimension Controller is known as one cities most celebrated selectors, leaving dancefloors in destruction everywhere he brings his mixed bag style of DJing. From house, tribal, techno, trance, garage, and more, the revered selectors passion and lust for digging has brought him across the globe. Expect the unexpected.
