Fontaines D.C. are set for a historic Slane Castle headline in June 2027, marking a landmark moment for the Dublin band as they become only the third Irish act to headline the legendary venue.
Following headline appearances at Reading, Leeds and Electric Picnic over the weekend, Fontaines D.C. have announced a major headline show at Slane Castle in County Meath, Ireland. The band will be joined by Hayley Williams, Damien Dempsey and Madra Salach, with further acts still to be announced.
The Dublin band will perform at the legendary outdoor venue on Saturday, 26th June 2027, subject to licence. The show will see Fontaines D.C. follow in the footsteps of artists including U2, Oasis, Madonna, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones, while becoming only the third Irish act to headline the historic venue after U2 and Thin Lizzy.
The announcement comes shortly after the band revealed details of their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber. The record is due for release on 16th October via XL Recordings.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Thursday, 3rd September.
