Max HeyraudOff the back of two sets at All Together Now last month, For Those I Love has announced a Dublin headline show at Vicar Street on December 11th, 2026.
David Balfe, the songwriter, producer and visual creative behind For Those I Love, has become one of Ireland’s most acclaimed contemporary voices, merging local storytelling with electronic music to explore class, grief, modern life and the friendships that underpin it.
He described the date as “a genuine dream”, reflecting on the venue’s significance throughout his life, from seeing Lankum and Damien Dempsey shows to winning the Choice Music Prize there.
“Anyway, the journey has started, and I’ll see you there,” Balfe wrote.
The multi-instrumentalist, producer and visual artist will be joined by Black Nylon, who have also been earning high praise across the Irish music scene in recent months. Tickets go on general sale Friday, September 4th via Ticketmaster.
