Skin&Blister is teaming up with Forbidden Fruit for an open call aimed at spotlighting emerging electronic artists who are female-identifying, trans, or non-binary and currently based in Ireland and giving them the chance to play at Forbidden Fruit.

One selected artist will play alongside big names like Peggy Gou, Yaeji, Jazzy, Effy, and Juicy Romance at the main festival on June 1st, and at the FF Night show at Yamamori Tengu on Saturday, May 31st. They’ll also receive a €1,000 fee for their performance. A runner-up will be chosen to play at one of the afterparties and will be paid €500.

Skin&Blister co-founders and DJs EMA and Mercorn will curate the final selection. The program is one of two emerging talent initiatives launching at this year’s festival with a focus on elevating underrepresented voices within electronic music.

To apply, artists must be based in Ireland and have performed at least one live event prior. Submissions should include a 30-minute mix (SoundCloud only), a short performance history, pronouns, and full contact details. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
