Ahead of Darwin’s Dublin debut in Yamamori Tengu, for the infamous Dublin bass merchants Woozy. We’ve decided to pick our favourite mixes from a very strong international and local lineup this coming Friday.

Canadian born selector, Darwin has been a resident at Berlin institution Griessmuehle since 2014 where she also hosted her REEF parties. REEF focused on UK club music creating raves that join the dots between techno, dub, and breakbeat.

Darwin also channels her avidity for UK-centric sounds into her label Spec Records , which to date has released a series of steely EPs from the likes of Kellen303, Sepehr & Doctor Jeep, while more recently the adding The Transformations compilation for the label’s fifth year anniversary to it’s already impressive back catalogue .

After what seemed to be a very grim week for nightlife in Ireland, the industry has hit back and shown it’s resilience. Venue’s such as Index and Yamamori Tengu have powered through and continued on with their planned show’s at new revised times of 8-12pm. This saw Kettama, Shampain, Kölsch, Ben Ufo and Club Comfort storm the capital at an earlier time than usual but with same energy as ever.

Ahead of Yamamori Tengu’s next early show this friday we pick our favourite mixes from the stellar lineup including Drawin, Ema & Sputnik One. Here’s our picks.
