Max HeyraudIncoming! Today we premiere a track from techno Don, The Advent, as London based collective Natural Selection announce a whopping 23 track VA compilation to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.
The massive VA doesn’t come short of respected techno stalwarts including The Advent, Jeroen Search, Kamikaze Space Programme, Cressida, Operator and more.
The London based techno and electro providers are known for their forwarding thinking approach and outlook to the respected genres. This is ever present within their line-ups for their parties and this VA. Every artist on the compilation has played an important role, or had a connection, in one way or another, to the over their colossal 10 year journey.
Today we premiere ‘The Vital Point (90’s Remaster)’ by the prolific techno producer The Advent. The Advent has made some of the most coveted techno records of all time and he hasn’t missed on this occasion as he returns with a remastered track. Vital point is a classic Advent production as he fires in with a sharp 909 groove at a blistering 148 bpm. The raw track is the perfect loop as the groove stays constant with ferocious drum switches and a rolling baseline. This was an instant standout on the VA from one of our favourite producers.
Natural Selection will celebrate 10 years and the label launch on 6th November at FOLD with an 18 hour long, extended event featuring The Fear Ratio, The Advent, Kamikaze Space Programme and more. Check out the Facebook event page here.
