Ireland Music Week is underway, with Shiv of Four Four Magazine set to take part in a panel exploring the current state and future of electronic music.

Taking place tomorrow at 4:30pm at The Crow Bar in Dublin’s Button Factory, “Exploring Electronic Music” will bring together voices from across the Irish electronic music industry for a discussion spanning the scene’s current trends, challenges and opportunities.

Four Four’s Shiv will join acclaimed producer Arveene, who will moderate the conversation, alongside Jay Ahern of the Association for Electronic Music, Jack David of Experts Only and Caroline Swords of Bloop Group.

The panel will examine the forces currently shaping electronic music, from emerging trends and the realities facing artists and industry professionals to the question of what it takes to break into an increasingly competitive landscape. The conversation will also look beyond the present, considering where electronic music and its surrounding industry could be heading next.
